EcoQuilt Expert is a highly reflective 6 Layer Multifoil Insulation Blanket. Designed to insulate Roofs, Walls, Floors and Conservatories. It is also used in Garden Buildings & Many More applications!
At 15mm thick in its open state this will compress down to just 5mm. It is equivalent to around 100mm of Glasswool or 50mm of Rigid Board such as Kingspan and Celotex. Making EcoQuilt one of the highest performing Insulation materials on the Market under 10mm in thickness!
You can install either one or two layers!
Manufactured in the UK, EcoQuilt contains 6 layers of high performing layers of recycled wadding and reflective aluminium foils. Containing no harmful materials which does not require any PPE to install.
At under £7 a Square Metre, EcoQuilt Expert is our most popular insulation. It is also the highest performing material when measuring Cost vs Performance!
Overlaps, cuttings and the perimeter are to be Taped and Sealed using Thermaseal True Aluminium Foil Tape. This will ensure that the insulation will act as a high performing vapour control layer, eliminating the risk of condensation from forming.
Roll Size
EcoQuilt Expert is supplied in 1.5m x 10m rolls (15 Square Metres) and 1.2m x 10m rolls (12 Square Metres).
Ecohome Insulation’s multifoil is also widely used in the trade, therefore EcoQuilt Expert is also available as a Trade Pallet Deal. The most cost effective way to purchase EcoQuilt Expert, popular for larger projects or regular installers.

In a loft EcoQuilt is either installed onto the rafter level (above head) or onto the Floor Joists (it is important to remove any existing fibrous material before installing EcoQuilt Expert onto loft floor).

We recommend one roll of ThermaSeal True Aluminium Foil Joining tape (75mm x 50m) for every two 15m2 rolls of EcoQuilt Expert.
