Ultra-Thin Foil-Tec Double Insulation

Foil-Tec Double is a thin insulation material made by YBS. It’s available in rolls that are 1.5m x 50m which cover an area of 75m^2. 

This material will increase the thermal performance, without losing any space it’s less than 1mm thick, making it a great space saving solution. Foil-Tec will enhance the U-values in roofs, walls, and floors.

This reflective foil has a certified R-value in a roof of 0.98m²K/W, and 1.48m²K/W in a wall. This equates to 64mm Mineral Wool despite being less than 1mm thick!

It’s simple to install and you don’t need any professional for the installation process. We recommend fully taping and sealing Foil-Tec Double Lite with Thermaseal Foil Joining Tape. This will ensure the product works as a VCL.

It’s fully certified by BDA Kiwa. You can also use Foil-Tec Double to boost your EPC rating due to it being fully certified. Foil-Tec doesn’t contain any itchy fibers or harmful chemicals you don’t need any specific PPE to install it.
