This step-by-step guide will show you how to install ConservaClad Roof Cladding beneath our Conservatory Roof Insulation Kit, creating a clean and professional internal finish.
ConservaClad is a lightweight, 9mm white uPVC cladding system designed to conceal and transform your conservatory. The durable panels are easy to cut and install, providing a bright, modern and low maintenance ceiling that transforms the appearance of your conservatory. Install the ConservaClad End Caps

Measure, cut and position each end cap with its open channel facing towards the roof, allowing the ends of the ConservaClad panels to slot neatly inside. Secure the end caps to the perimeter timber using 25mm drywall screws.
Measure, Cut and Install the ConservaClad Boards

Measure each roof section individually, from the wall plate end cap towards the roof apex or adjoining roof angle. Roof sections can vary slightly, particularly on Victorian conservatories, so check every measurement before cutting.
Transfer the measurement onto the ConservaClad board and cut it carefully using a suitable uPVC saw. Support the full length of the panel while cutting to prevent damage.
Slot the lower end of the first panel into the end cap and raise the board into position against the counter battens. Secure it using the recommended drywall screws, positioning the fixings where they will later be concealed by the finishing trims.
Fit the next board by fully engaging its tongue & groove joint with the previous panel. Continue measuring, cutting and installing the boards one at a time until every roof section is covered.
Install the Adjustable Angles (Victorian and Edwardian Only)

Apply a continuous bead of suitable construction adhesive to the back of each adjustable angle. Position the trim over the cladding joint, adjust it to match the roof angle and press it firmly into place along its full length.
Remove any excess adhesive before it dries and wipe the cladding clean with a soft cloth.
Install the ConservaClad Flat Board (Victorian and Edwardian Only)

Finally, measure and cut the ConservaClad Flat Board to fit across the apex or central section of the conservatory roof.
Position the flat board so it neatly covers the ends of the cladding panels and any remaining exposed timber or fixings. Secure it to the supporting battens using white-headed Polytop Pins. Finish around the perimeter with a white silicone if required.
Once complete, check that every panel and trim is secure before cleaning the finished ceiling with a soft cloth.
