What is included in the EcoPro Ceiling Insulation Kit?

• EcoQuilt Expert 1.5 x 10m (15m²)

EcoQuilt Expert is a 6 layer reflective multifoil insulation. It is just 15mm thick, but compresses to just 6mm when installed. Although thin, EcoQuilt equates to 100 of Fibre / 50mm of PIR in terms of its thermal performance. You can therefore save on installation time, as well as space and cost!

• Thermaseal Foil Joining Tape

This is to tape and seal the joints and the edges - which creates your vapour control layer.

• Heavy Duty Staple Gun Kit

Within the kit, you benefit from a Heavy-Duty Staple Gun. This also comes complete with 5,000 x 14mm Staples. These are an ample depth to secure the EcoQuilt Expert into place.

• 10" Multifoil Insulation Scissors

You can use these Stainless Steel Scissors, to make any necessary cuts easily.

If you are looking for even more heat retention, you can double up on the EcoQuilt Expert and you can double the performance if you pop a batten between the two layers (to enable it to reflect and perform.

You can install this Insulation yourself, by simply installing a set of 25mm battens to the underside of your ceiling. Then stapling the Multifoil to the underside of your ceiling. Ensure that you overlap each layer by 50mm and fully tape and seal the product, with our Thermaseal Foil Joining Tape. This will ensure that you also benefit from a vapour control layer. This VCL means you'll not suffer from condensation or mould formation.
