Thermaseal Weatherproof Tape for BreatherQuilt

Thermaseal Weatherproof Tape is designed for installing YBS BreatherQuilt on pitched roofs.

It is used to seal vertical butt joints between sections of BreatherQuilt, helping create a secure and weather resistant finish.

Essential Tape for BreatherQuilt Installation

When installing BreatherQuilt, the built in tape is used to seal the horizontal overlaps between rolls.

Thermaseal Weatherproof Tape is then used on the vertical butt joints where separate sections of BreatherQuilt meet.

This helps protect the roof build up from external weather while creating a neat and secure installation.

How to Install BreatherQuilt and Weatherproof Tape

Install the BreatherQuilt across the roof rafters and staple securely into position.

Install the next section with a 100mm overlap and use the built in tape supplied on the BreatherQuilt to seal the horizontal joint.

Finally, apply Thermaseal Weatherproof Tape to the vertical butt joints only.

50mm x 50m Roll

Each roll of Thermaseal Weatherproof Tape measures 50mm wide x 50m long.

This provides plenty of coverage for sealing vertical joints across larger BreatherQuilt installations.

How Much Weatherproof Tape Do I Need?

As a general guide, we recommend approximately one roll of Thermaseal Weatherproof Tape for every 10 rolls of YBS BreatherQuilt.

The exact quantity required will depend on the roof dimensions and number of vertical joints.
