Timber Frame Multifoil Insulation Kit

Fully insulate timber frame walls with our complete multifoil insulation system. Designed for 89mm studs or deeper, this kit can achieve a range of U values for Building Control without the need for Kingspan or Celotex.

The system combines YBS SuperQuilt internally with YBS BreatherFoil FR externally, helping you save space, reduce installation time and lower material costs.

Complete Timber Frame Insulation System

Our Timber Frame Multifoil Insulation Kit includes YBS SuperQuilt for the internal wall and YBS BreatherFoil FR externally.

SuperQuilt provides high thermal performance and acts as a vapour control layer when fully taped and sealed. BreatherFoil FR provides additional insulation while also acting as a breathable external membrane.

Achieve Different U Values

A range of U values can be achieved depending on your timber frame construction.

For lower U values such as 0.18, we recommend installing two layers of SuperQuilt internally with one layer of BreatherFoil FR externally.
