What is Airtec Double?

Airtec Double is a versatile reflective foil insulation suitable for roofs, walls, floors, conservatories, sheds, summerhouses, motorhomes, agricultural buildings, windows, doors and many other applications.

It consists of true aluminium foil on both sides of a 4mm air bubble membrane and reflects up to 95% of radiant energy.

At only 4mm thick, Airtec Double provides performance equivalent to around 55mm of polystyrene, making it an excellent choice where space is limited.

For the best results, fully tape and seal all joints using ThermaSeal Foil Joining Tape.

Once fully taped and sealed, Airtec Double can also provide an effective vapour control layer.

Individual rolls of Airtec Double are also available if you do not require a full trade pallet.

Need Higher Thermal Performance?

For projects requiring additional insulation performance, consider EcoQuilt Expert. It compresses to approximately 6mm and provides performance equivalent to around 100mm of mineral wool. Alternatively for projects going through Building Control, we would recommend using our SuperQuilt Insulation.
