Foil-Tec Double Reflective Insulation and Vapour Control Layer

Foil-Tec Double is an ultra thin reflective insulation and vapour control layer. At less than 1mm thick, it improves thermal performance while taking up virtually no internal space.

Each 1.5m x 50m roll covers 75m² and is suitable for roofs, walls and floors.

High Thermal Performance

Foil-Tec Double provides impressive insulation performance from an extremely thin layer.

Roof applications: R value 0.98m²K/W

Wall applications: R value 1.48m²K/W

Equivalent to approximately 64mm of mineral wool insulation.

Its slim design makes Foil-Tec Double ideal where space is limited or where you want to improve U-values without increasing construction depth.

Reflective Vapour Control Layer

Foil-Tec Double combines reflective insulation with an effective vapour control layer. It helps reduce radiant heat loss while controlling moisture movement through the building structure.

Tape and seal all joints with Thermaseal Foil Joining Tape to create a continuous vapour control layer and reduce the risk of condensation.

Quick and Easy to Install

Foil-Tec Double is lightweight, flexible and easy to cut and install. It contains no itchy fibres and requires no specialist installation equipment.

Certified Insulation Performance

Foil-Tec Double is independently certified by BDA Kiwa and can be used within suitable roof, wall and floor insulation systems.
