ENERGYFIVEYBS Saddle Clips for Multifoils
YBS Saddle Clips are designed to recess multifoil insulation between timber rafters, joists and studs while creating the air cavities needed for optimum thermal performance.
Available in 27mm and 54mm depths, they allow you to choose the correct air gap based on your available space and insulation build up.
Why Use YBS Saddle Clips?
A consistent air gap is important when installing reflective multifoil insulation.
Saddle Clips help hold the insulation in position and maintain an even air cavity across the installation. This can improve consistency compared with stapling alone, where the depth of the air gap can vary.
They can also remove the need for additional timber battens, helping save internal space and installation time.
Where Can Saddle Clips Be Used?
YBS Saddle Clips are suitable for fixing over:
Roof rafters
Wall studs
Floor joists
They are designed for use with timber approximately 50mm wide.
27mm and 54mm Saddle Clips
Choose between 27mm or 54mm deep clips depending on the air cavity required, the space available and the insulation system being installed.
Maintaining the correct air space either side of multifoil insulation helps the reflective layers perform effectively.
