YBS BreatherQuilt Insulation

YBS BreatherQuilt is a high performance 2-in-1 multifoil insulation and breathable roofing membrane designed for installation over rafters.

A cost effective alternative to TLX Gold, BreatherQuilt provides excellent thermal performance while saving space, installation time and material costs. At just 7mm when compressed, it takes up virtually the same depth as a standard roofing membrane.

High Performance Breathable Roof Insulation

BreatherQuilt features 11 layers of low emissivity reflective foils and wadding. The perforated layers allow the multifoil to breathe, helping manage moisture and reduce the risk of condensation within the roof.

Building Regulation Approved

YBS BreatherQuilt is LABC and BDA approved for Building Control and can contribute towards improving the thermal performance, U-value targets and EPC rating of a property.

Easy Roof Installation

BreatherQuilt is supplied in easy to handle 1.2m x 10m rolls, providing 12m² coverage per roll. 

Install horizontally over the rafters with a slight drape before fitting the tile battens. For a taut installation, a counter batten is recommended before the tile battens.

Double sided tape is included, making overlapping and installation quicker and easier.
